Dairy Farm Nature Reserve

When I was working yesterday, this customer brought in a bird, which everyone thinks that it is a King Fisher. Apparently, according to our vet there, its not going to be able to survive long, it cant even fly. So poor thing. Its quite pretty too. We just put it somewhere in our store, just waiting, really just waiting..

There is this puppy there. Its sooooo cuteee!!!!! Look at the way she sleeps. Its a Welsh Corgi, when it grows up, its going to look like a sausage dog..

Last Sunday, we brought Ikea to this new park at Bukit Timah, called Dairy Farm Nature Reserve. Had a good 30 mins walk and managed to reach this pretty place. There was quite a lot of people there, esp families with kids, its sunday, family day. But it kinda feels like our own little family day too with Ikea. Stayed there for a while, snap a few photos..

Ikea being the most adorable baby there, even little girls want to take her photo. While we were leaving the place, apparently, Lee Hsien Loong was there, I dont know what, maybe some opening ceremony.. We even walk pass him but didnt know, only until later we overheard some conversation, some kid telling the father that he miss the good show. Only then we realise. It was a nice place, and I would like to be there too, and with our little JiaJia.



Oh ya oh ya oh ya!!!!! Great news to share.
Baby is in the Subaru Impreza Challenge! We managed to call into the radio station yesterday night.

So cool la! Last year, I was in the challenge, and this year, baby was in and he say all he wanted was just to break my record. Hehehhehe! Cant wait! So exciting!!!

Brought Ikea to work with me today. Was a really really great day though she made me worry about her throughout the whole day.

My collegue brought down his chihuahua too and kept the both of them in the grooming room. The two of them were trying to fight each other at first, but they got better towards the end of the day.

Ikea was super cute, she escaped from the grooming room a couple of time to find me. You know, its so so sweet to actually see your dog running over into your arms.

A couple of customers asked what breed was Ikea. And when i said Jack Russel, they were rather shock, its rare to have a wired-hair jack russell. And when they asked who she belong to, and i will proudly say, MINE.

Aiya, your wouldnt know how it feels like, Ikea is like me and bf's baby. She constantly on my mind and if i cant see her, i will be worried wondering what is she doing, wondering if she being bullied by other dogs. And will feel damn proud of her!!!!

Well, anyway, at the later part of the day, since the shop is closing, I let Ikea run free, while i was doing cashier closing. She will play with my other collegue and the dog but once in awhile, she will come and look for me.. How sweet is that?!

Baby picked me up from work. And once ikea got onto the vehicle, she slept on my lap like a baby. She only sleep in familiar environment. So cute..



Next time, i would like to keep a flat coated retreiver.

Baby thought of a name for our future dog too. It will definitely be a female . And we will call it "Evening". Its such a nice name, isnt it?

Pet Lover Grooming

Work at Pet Lover yesterday was tiring.

My pair of sneakers that I left there dont seems to want to be found by me.

Help out at the grooming side instead of retail.

Oh, this is the record.
Bath 8 dogs in one day.
Super duper tiring!!!!

There were 2 Jack Russell Terriers too. Short coat.
Needless to say, none were as cute as Ikea.

Collegue brought his Pomeranian down. 2kg only and just gave birth to pups recently.
Bath her, clean her ears, get ride of all the shedding fur.


Its really tiring being in the grooming side.
But I would still love to do it again.

Especially the part when the dog lick your face when you are bathing her.
It just feel so sweet!

Well, anyway, the car boot sale was a total success. We managed to earn back out rental and carpark and even with profit! The 2 days there was totally different. First day was so hot, Ikea keeps drinking lots of water and she keep hiding under the vehicle to get away from the sun. Second day was raining elephant and hippopotamus, floor was wet, our tentage was leaking and flying away because of the wind. Its so dramatic.

But, it made the whole carboot sale very memorable.

The friends we made there was very nice too.
And guess what?
They even invited us to their wedding! So cool! :D

And we will definitely go for another carboot sale with them!




We brought Ikea to the vet a few days back. She has blood in her stool. All of us were so worried for her. Afraid that she ate something sharp that hurt her tummy or maybe even virus infection.

It was at night then, called up Mount Pleasant and the consultation was horrifying, $$214 okay!! I did not type wrongly, Its a bloody 200 hundred and 14 dollars.

Waited till the next morning, then brought her to her usual vet. Lucky wasnt anything serious and bill was still alright, about a hundred in total. And there is so many medication. Haiyo.. poor jiajia!



Baby sent me down to settle the school fees on monday. School starting in one month and baby's work have started already. Sian. :(
