Its been awhile since I blogged, feeling really sian no pictures.

Well, these few days was preparing for sub papers, and have been out with baby consequently for quite a couple of days. He was busy buying props and setting and cleaning up the house for the shoot. And I tagged along, helped him in proping and sometimes bringing Little Ikea to the house to let her run. It was a private estate and it have a super duper big field in the front yard. The field was as big as my 4Rm flat or I think its even bigger. So imagine, how big the place is.

Ok, here some weird invention for u to see.

Random

It was our 30 months yesterday, but we spend it in a rather weird way. Because baby had to work, and therefore i tagged along. He had to paint the house for the new movie directed by 'Huang Yi Liang', the actor who turns into a director. The house was damn big la, but very very old. Baby and me, and the rest of the crew, there were a total of 7 people but we didn't even manage to finish painting the house. The later part of the afternoon, i just slept in baby's van. Feeling sick already as in the morning i wasnt feeling very good. And at night, i was having a fever. What a weird 30 months, but was nice though, I get to spend it with you. =)

A lot of things to do tml, school in the morning and if i am feeling okay, will have to go to the post office to settle some postage stuffs, buy printer ink, go to the bank. Probably a doctor if i am still feeling sick or having a fever. So ya, I am importing items from Forever 21 and Gojane! I have mark out so many items i want. I love online shopping! Have to just sit at home and things will just come flying to you! Wee!

Sweet honey.

Read Ice Angel's blog <Link>

Here is her latest post.
Hmmm. Girls out there, how well do you treat your boyfriend/the person you like? Are you more of xiao-nu-ren always listening/giving in to him, treating him like a treasure, or are you da-nu-ren, stubborn, tempered, and always the one receiving love more than giving?

I used to be the xiao nu ren type. I always give in to my boyfriends, even if I feel that I'm correct. i always put them as first priority, but always losing out in the end with them dumping me or two timing or three timing, or lose feelings, or change heart -.-

Then i learnt my lesson. I started standing up for whatever i think is right. I would not give in if i don't want to. I would always want to get my way. I would force myself not to fall hard for the guy (no matter how much i wish to). Every start of a new relationship, i would tell myself to build a wall around me and him, don't love him too much. Best is bo-chup, convince myself that he's not important at all.

That worked. When i am less serious in a guy, the guy on the other hand chased me like mad. They would give in for all quarrels, and treated me like a princess. I started believing this theory and put it to use for every single relationship. Yes, almost all the recent ones. I always have the thinking that "if i don't love them, they can't hurt me."

However, sometimes i feel a bit of emptiness within me. Everything feels so fake. I felt that i protected myself too much and would never be able to taste the real flavour of how a sizzling relationship should be. By building a wall around me, i forbid myself to love or sacrifice for a man. So what's the use of having a guy who loves you when you don't love him back?

But then, if I'm too good to the guy, the guy would always take me for granted and then I'll be the one hurt in the end.

I don't know which to choose: Love and be hurt, or don't love and feel empty.

Why can't there be a case of me liking the guy and the guy liking me back as much? I don't think i ever had such a relationship.

And this is what i feel.
I have been with my bf for 2.5 yrs already, and things have been going rather smoothly. If you guys still didnt know, he is 6 yrs older than me. I know him when i was 16, and he is 22. It might look like a big gap now, but as soon as i pass my 20, it wont be. We dont have any communication problem, we talked about every single details in our life. As i am the quiet type, whenever there is argument and i choose to keep my thoughts inside me. But i dont have why, he always managed to force it out of me. And that all keep our relationship going strong. I guess communication is the key point to keep the relationship going.

I wont deny I am the 'xiao nu ren' type and my bf is kind of the 'da nan ren' kind. But this works for us. Although sometimes i gotta give in to him, but its alright, as long as i know that he loves me as much as i love him. It does not matter if u are the "xiao nu ren" or "da nu ren" or is he the "da nan ren" or "xiao nan ren". As long as it work out for u.

Building a wall around yourself will not help in the relationship. You want the guy to understand and love u back. And if u are the "xiao nu ren" kind, keep giving in to ur bf and end up realising that he is cheating on you or taking you for granted, you should then know that this guy is not a keeper.

There are many phases of life, let your the other half join in. Sometimes do something new together. Or something still surprise the other person with some sweet gesture. All these will keep the relationship interesting.

Well i know, my bf appreciate me. Its a two way thing, both of us work hard to keep this relationship strong and sweet at the same time. I must say, its hard to find someone u like that likes u back. But i found mine and i am happy with the way its going right now and i try my best to keep it going as long as possible.

Interesting Story

"You are the way you are because that's the way you want to be. If you really wanted to be any different, you would be in the process of changing right now."

A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy was the gem of their eyes. When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open. He was late for office so he asked his wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard. His wife, preoccupied in the kitchen totally forgot the matter.

The boy saw the bottle and playfully went to the bottle fascinated by its color and drank it all. It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages. When the child collapsed the mother hurried him to the hospital. He died.

The mother was stunned. She was terrified how she was going to face her husband. When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and uttered just five words.

QUESTIONS :

1. What were the five words ?
2. What is the implication of this story?

Scroll down to read....

ANSWER :

The husband just said "I am with you Darling".

The husband's totally unexpected reaction is a proactive behavior. The child is dead. He can never be brought back to life. There is no point in finding fault with the mother. Besides, if only he had taken time to keep the bottle away, this would not have happened.

No one is to be blamed. She had also lost her only child. What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy from the husband. That is what he gave her. If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there would be much fewer problems in the world.

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." Take off all your envies, jealousies, unforgiveness, selfishness, and
fears. And you will find things are actually not as difficult as you think.

MORAL OF THE STORY

This story is really worth reading. Sometimes we spend time in asking who is responsible or whom to blame, whether in a relationship, in a job or with the people we know. By this way we miss out some warmth in human relationship.

Van

Yesterday, met baby at his airbase and we cabbed down to view a van that he was going to buy. A van will be more practical for him, for his job. A car will be useless though. So we went down, he test drive the vehicle, and he like it! So after calculating the payment and stuff, he decided to go ahead. He put a down payment and going to pay the rest this coming tuesday! And that means, the van is his! Woo! So exciting! Next time you can drive me home! And we can bring Ikea to the beach! Yahoo!

Oh ya, was shopping online yesterday from GoJane, a US online shopping site, damn shiok. Bought a lot of stuffs! Who doesn't loves online shopping? Can wait for it to arrive!

And ya! Ikea is more or less toilet trained, she is such a smart puppy and she is not even 3 months old leh. So glad we picked her among the rest of the puppies. Very cute very adorable. =)

Doll house

Look at all the doll houses! Aint they pretty??

The very first time I fell in love with doll house was when I watched this horror movie: "Amityville Dollhouse" some time ago. And ever since, i grew to like it more and more! And this time, I told baby about it and he actually said that we can build one ourself. And it will definitely be more special than the ones you buy from outside.

I really cant wait to start doing. I can put up my own wallpaper, cut out small cloths for the rugs, do my own carpet. Arrange my furnitures! Wee! This is just so exciting!!

Sweet

Its been so long, time really flies.
What we used to have is not the same as before.
Everything is different, everything have changed.
The time when I first felt the touch of your fingers on my skin.
The time when I first felt your tender lips.
Those memories we have, shall never fade.

Yes, time have flies, things have changed.
But in a better way.
To promise to love and to care.
To promise that we will be there.
Its not been said, but we know.
The future is near.
I anxiously wait, for what will appear.

Our love is growing day by day.
How blessed I am that you are in my life.
Its a world for you and me.
A bond that no one can see.
Without you I don't know where I will be.
Having you, completes and fulfills every part of me.

Happy Valentine Day, my dear.
Like what you say, everyday is Valentine Day.

I just love that little Ikea so so much.

Last month, we brought her to the vet, and she weighs only 800g, and recently we brought her to the vet again for her 2nd vaccination, and she is already 1.5kg! Even the vet remembers her. She is just so lovable. You know, its such a nice feeling seeing her grow up. When we got her, she is only about 1 month plus, but right now, she coming to 3 months old already. Oh man! Is rather scary seeing her grow up, its so fast!

We brought her down for a walk downstairs today , but cant walk too long. Not because of her stamina but because of her paws. Need to season it first. But she can really run ah! That little terrier!

Baby went for his reservice again. So fast, 2nd reservist already. You will have lesser time for Ikea! She is so going to miss you. And me too! :p

Sometime ago, we made some gigantic burgers ourself. Went to the cold storage and got some beef patty, potatoes wedges, buns, vegetables, mushrooms and started whipping up a delicious meal. Surprising it turned out so delicious!

Baby's burger!

Mine! It looks like a breakfast burger, becase no vegetables(I hate raw veg). And there is 2 eggs! Super yummy!!

We shall do this again soon man!

Oh ya, we got Ikea a new sleeping basket because she is so much bigger now and she cant even fit into the previous one. Its kinda nice to watch her grow.

We got this yellow one for her, not cheap okay. One piece of plastic cost about $50! But I am so happy, she looks so cosy!!

She has this favourite toy, a teddy bear, she will always bring it up to bed with her whenever she sleeps and she will make sure its there. Sometimes, she will just lie her head on it. Super duper cute!

Ikea, grow up leh!!

Even my own dog doesnt learn to shake hand so quickly. So CUTE!

Here is my little Pomeranian!
My 9yr old dog!
Yeah, he's old. Mom keep saying he is going to die soon.

Then maybe i can get a puppy too?? :p
I used to have 2 dog, but because of him had to give the other one away.
He is one jealous dog.
Keep marking his territory all over the place when the other dog is around, he feeling insecure ah. No Choice!

Puppies, trekking

Well, have uploaded the photos.

As you can see, our jungle trekking is pretty jungly. This is not what u imagine right?
We took about 6 hours to trek 1km in the jungle, and thats equivalent to taking 3 mins for 1meter. Imagine how bad is that. I got rather depressed about awhile. Because it seems forever to finish the whole trail.
We were supposed to play the geocaching game again, this time round is to locate a Japanese Shinto Shrine deep inside the jungle. The shrine had been used by the Japanese to keep those spirits of dead Japaneses soldiers in the WW2 . And it is believed to be highly haunted.
We didnt even managed to reach that part, as the whole journey in and out is about 2km. But by the time we went in and trekked about 500m, its already 4pm, didn't want to risk getting stuck there at night. Its not funny at all.
However, overall experience was very very excited, though the 4 of us smelled terribly after that. Heh. I will definitely want to do it again. The same geocache hopefully with the same people.

And ya, taking about the puppy. We brought it down to the vet ytd and wanted to get its first vaccination jab, but the vet was saying she doesn't look happy enough and she looks pretty stressed. But its normal, she have just being separated by her mom and siblings. So we can only do the jab a few days later after she have settle down a bit more.

She is so adorable and lovable. And she sleeps alot la! Sleep for 2 hours, wake up,play for 10-20 mins and sleep again. Haiyo. Puppies ah! Have to eat 4 meals a day okay? And she whines alot, think because she is afraid.

Aint she cute? Don't you all love her now? She is a damn smart girl. She is only about 6 weeks plus, and she understand 'NO', 'COME'(a little) and knows how to pee on the newspaper. Although once in a while, on the floor. But she is a intelligent baby, cant wait for her to grow up.

Updates

Went for a little hike with baby and his friends the day before. And when I say hike, it means deep into the jungle. I am not shitting you, I am serious. Deep deep in when handphone reception can be lost and there are thorns pricking you, muddly ground, decompose leaves, giant ants, and you have to climb over falling tree trunks. Its exciting, but tiring and very demoralising.

Will update again with more info and more pictures. Using baby's computer now, and i dont seems to be able to bluetooth the photos.

And oh ya, I bought baby a little Parson Jack Russell Terrier yesterday! Its only about 7 weeks old! Super tiny super cute! I love it to bits man.

Will upload the photos soon!!

Geocaching

Me and Baby played Geocaching yesterday.

Those who didnt know whats geocaching. Read the following carefully:

Geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting game in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") anywhere in the world. A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook and "treasure," usually toys or trinkets of little value. Today, well over 800,000 geocaches are registered on various websites devoted to the pastime. Geocaches are currently placed in over 100 countries around the world and on all seven continents, including Antarctica.

If you still dont understand, its is bascially a little treasure hunting game, where you get the latitude and altitude of a particular spot in singapore, and following the instructions given, you will be able to find the location of the cache(treasure). Finding the place of the cache is easy but not spotting the item. Currently in Singaproe, there are about 100 plus caches. And we did our very first one yesterday, and I am proud to say we successfully completed it.

(Baby wrote this on the caching's site to share our experience for that particular cache)
This is my very first cache, and I must say it was hell of an exciting experience.

Without any intructions, I guess I got off to a false start. Me and my girlfriend ended up at Lower Pierce Reservoir as we thought it was nearer to the cache, but as it turned out, we were on the other side of the reservoir. Still feeling all pumped up, we took a VERY long walk to Upper Pierce Reservoir through Old Upper Thomson Road.

With the GPSr as our guide, we were simply just following the arrow as it led us nearer to the cache. Kinda silly we didn't download the instructions, as at one point, we had to cut into a golf course, and thinking back, I think we kinda trespassed into private property. But hey, we were just following the arrow and noone stopped us.

After awhile, we managed to find a trail that led us towards the direction of the cache, and soon we began walking in the woods. After like 30 minutes, we managed to get to the cache site, and we started looking for anything metal.

We didn't know where exactly it was, and after awhile, I decided I should read some of the logs, and before long, I realized where it might be. Doesn't really help though, as we spent like a good 45 minutes searching for it. But as we were about to give up, I went back down again, and with the help of a light, I saw the cache! It was so damn well camouflaged man, and for awhile I thought maybe the cache didn't exist anymore. I didn't have a pen with me, and I had to use my girlfriend's concealer to scribble my entry onto a piece of scrap paper.

Its been like a year since the last log, and I'm happy to report that the cache is still very much alive. The log is full, however, and very damp. Overall, for my first cache experience, this has been a very fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

The whole journey took about 4 hours, its was really tiring but really fun too.

The monkeys we saw at lower pierce reservoir. Its a monkey city ah!

We followed the trail and realize that it led us to nowhere, the cache is on the other side of the reservoir, and we cannot possible swim across we we can only walk one big round over. We walked out of lower pierce and walked to upper pierce reservoir.

The road to upper pierce reservoir was really tiring, lots of up slope and down slope. I literally had to struggle to move my legs. We reached a point where we didn't know are we even allowed to cross. That is a golf course. We did not really bother much about that and we went ahead. (PS:Only after we found the cache and when leaving the place, we realize that we had trespass some private property, the gold course belongs to this Singapore Island Country Club. Luckily, no one cases us out.)

After the golf course, we found this little trail which led us into the woods. I did not even know such places existed. Then, we managed to find our way deep inside for the treasure.

We spend a old 45 mins looking for it, and baby managed to find it. We took the coin the previous person left and replace it with a little keychain.

I forgot to bring a pen with me and we need to leave a msg in the little container. Had no choice but to use my concealer. Hahahaha! Thats pretty funny.

Managed to leave the place before 6pm, you don't wanna get stuck there a night. There is no light at all and I think its pretty creepy too. Now I understand, why this cache is called 'A Walk In The Woods'

The next one we are going to do next Saturday is called 'Yamashita Gold' And the exciting part is that the place is haunted! People who did the cache before says that you might encounter some venomous snakes and they suggested bringing a parang so that you can easily clear your path when in the woods. Tracking shoes are highly recommended. Woo!

Short hair

I just cut off my hair.
CHOP CHOP CHOP!!

No more long hair, no more damaged hair and of cause no more perm too!

Its only slightly longer than shoulder length, kinda miss my hair now. But well, at least I wont feel irritated when I touch it, its not damaged anymore! Thats the only comforting part I guess. Hehe.

I cant wait for it to grow longer, don't think I will be rebonding it, let my wavy hair fly! (PS: Baby says he like girls with wavy hair :p) I wanna color it soon!!!

What color should I do??
